Having a baby would also mean buying so many things that the baby needs. As cute as these things can be because of their designs, colors and size; baby stuff such as clothes, cribs, toys and pushchairs can also be very expensive. In addition to this, the baby can outgrow some of these expensive things in just a matter of weeks. For this reason, smart parents opt to look for cheap prams, toys, blankets, and clothes online to save some money that they can use for other things that the baby would need.

It is natural for parents to feel great satisfaction in knowing that they have given their little bundle of joy all the nice and great things their money can buy because that precious child simply deserves the best. On the other hand, the price of baby merchandise can be very costly and it is usually not very practical to spend all savings just to buy expensive things that the baby will use for just a couple of months. It has been discovered that in the total number of cases of violence against women by a lone offender, 29 percent of the cases pointed to the woman’s intimate person to be the perpetrator. This means that the abuser is a husband, an ex-husband, a boyfriend or an ex-boyfriend. The rest of the cases consist annual reports amounting to an estimate of about 500,000 reported sexual assaults and rape cases, and nearly 500,000 cases of robberies.

If the aforementioned figures are not enough to send women and parents with daughters a clear message that danger and harassment are just outside the door, they might be convinced by the equally dreadful fact showing that adding to the robberies, rapes and sexual abuses are the staggering 3.8 million assaults on women and girls aged twelve years old and above. In such a dangerous world, women clearly need to know ways to defend their selves.
