Wanting to have a new ambience in the house doesn’t mean you have to spend a lot of money over buying new furniture and house decorations. As home improvement and renovations tend to be costly, there is a way you can still achieve a new house interior look even without buying new things and furniture for the house. All you have to do is to perform a makeover the existing furniture inside your home.

Recreating or reinventing furniture look are done by many interior designers especially during these times when the economy is facing a lot of crises and the price of commodities tend to continually rise. Hence, as a way of answering the clients and customers’ concern about saving money and not spending so much in home improvement, designers tend to think of ways of using the existing furniture in the house as materials in making new furniture or house feature.

In some instances, designers use old or damaged furniture like chairs to make new and different furniture. A designer may use the old chairs frame, the seat and the legs, and saw off the back part, repaint or put varnish on it and then add a flat glass or wood over it. The result would be a new coffee table.
