Many people adore whistling tea kettles due to the fact that these kettles make whistling sounds when the water inside it reached boiling point and would therefore catch the attention of anyone within hearing distance. The whistling sound becomes a warning that the water inside the unit is boiling and thus it is time to turn off the stove.

Whistling kettles in today’s time are now designed to have louder or softer sounds, and in some cases the whistle is almost musical that it is very pleasant to hear. Whistling kettles can be made from glass, iron, copper, stainless steel and enamel on steel. Whistling kettles are perfect for mothers who prepare breakfast for the family every morning but usually get preoccupied with the cooking tasks, which lead to forgetting about the boiling water on the stove.

Kettles that automatically turn their selves off without whistling after the water inside them reach boiling point may not be as helpful for mothers and individuals who tend to be forgetful. This is because people who suffer from forgetfulness may remember about the water they have set to boil when it is already too late and the water inside the kettle has already cooled down. Thus, they would have to repeat boiling the water.
